Cavtat

Cavtat is the closest resort to Dubrovnik Airport — a short drive from the terminal, far quicker to reach than Dubrovnik's old town. Yet arrivals still get caught out by sparse buses and summer taxi queues for what should be a five-minute hop. A pre-booked private transfer is the obvious fix: a driver waiting in arrivals and a fixed fare agreed before you travel, so you're at your accommodation almost before the suitcases stop spinning.

Getting to and from Cavtat

The airport at Čilipi is just minutes from Cavtat, which makes this one of the shortest, easiest transfers in southern Dalmatia. From Cavtat we also run the longer route into Dubrovnik — dropping as close to the pedestrian old town as vehicles are allowed, at the Pile or Ploče gate — as well as to the Gruž port for ferries and cruises, and across the Konavle valley. Your driver meets you with a name sign, helps with the luggage and takes you straight to the door.

About Cavtat

Cavtat is a graceful little town set on a wooded twin-bay peninsula in the Konavle region, just south of Dubrovnik. A palm-lined waterfront, a sheltered harbour and a relaxed, low-rise feel make it a favourite quieter alternative to the city, while still being close enough for easy day trips into Dubrovnik by road or boat. Its position right beside the airport also makes it the natural first or last stop for many southern-Dalmatia trips.
