City transfers
Private transfers to and from Šibenik — Split or Zadar airports, the old town and the Krka and Kornati parks. Fixed prices, licensed drivers.
Šibenik sits almost exactly between Split and Zadar airports and has none of its own, so an arrival here always begins with a drive — and the airport buses run to those cities, not to Šibenik. That leaves the do-it-yourself traveller changing in Split or Zadar and waiting for a coach that may not line up with the flight. A pre-booked private transfer from whichever airport you fly into takes you straight to your door for a fixed price, with no connections to chase and no timetable to second-guess.
It is one of the clearest cases for booking ahead, because the town's appeal is partly that it is quieter and less obvious than its big neighbours — but that same quietness is what makes the public links thin. With a reserved vehicle and a named driver, the gap between the airport and Šibenik stops being a problem to solve and becomes a simple, fixed-price drive.
We run direct transfers from both Split Airport and Zadar Airport to Šibenik, picking whichever suits your flight, and either way the driver meets you in arrivals, tracks the flight and helps with the luggage. Because the two airports are roughly equidistant, you can simply book the cheaper or more convenient flight and let us handle the road; there is no advantage to be lost by choosing one over the other.
From the town we also reach the two big draws on its doorstep. The waterfalls of Krka National Park are a short run inland and one of the most common onward trips we make from here, and the bare, beautiful Kornati islands are reached from the coast nearby. Along the shore we cover the resort towns of Vodice, Primošten and Rogoznica too, so a stay based in Šibenik can fan out across this stretch of coast and the parks behind it. Fares are agreed up front and paid by card, with a clear cancellation policy shown before you confirm.
Šibenik is one of the oldest native Croatian towns on the Adriatic, set where the Krka river meets the sea through a narrow, fortress-guarded channel. Unlike the Roman and Venetian foundations up and down the coast, it was founded by Croatians themselves, and its stone old town climbs the hillside in a tangle of steps and lanes beneath a ring of hilltop fortresses.
Its crown is the UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St James, a remarkable building constructed entirely of stone, while the St Nicholas Fortress guards the sea approach at the mouth of the channel. The town is the natural base for two of Dalmatia's great natural attractions — Krka National Park's waterfalls and the spare, island-studded Kornati archipelago — which is why so many transfers here continue straight on to the parks rather than ending in town. Add the easy coastal hops to Vodice and Primošten, and Šibenik works as much as a launch point as a destination.
