Pula

Private transfers to and from Pula — the airport, the Roman Arena and across Istria. Fixed prices, licensed drivers.

Pula's airport is close to the city, but Istria's attractions are scattered up and down the peninsula, and the bus network does not connect them neatly. You might land a short drive from your hotel in Pula itself, or you might be heading an hour up the coast to a resort that no convenient bus serves — and from the airport that difference is the gap between an easy arrival and a long, awkward one. Whether you are staying in Pula or heading up the coast, a pre-booked private transfer takes you door-to-door for a price agreed before you fly, with no waiting for a connection that does not quite fit.

Istria is compact but spread out, a peninsula of small towns and resorts where the appeal is precisely that it is not concentrated in one place. That is exactly the geography a reserved vehicle handles best: instead of changing buses to reach a village or a campsite, you are collected in arrivals and driven straight to the door, with the timing built around your flight.

Getting to and from Pula

The airport is just a few kilometres from central Pula, so the transfer into town is short and fixed-price, with the driver meeting you in arrivals and helping with the bags. For departures the pickup is timed to your check-in, so even a short hop to the airport is handled without the last-minute scramble of finding a taxi.

From here we also run direct routes across Istria — to Rovinj, Poreč, Medulin, Fažana and Premantura — and to the ferry and the Brijuni islands offshore. Because so many visitors arrive at Pula and stay elsewhere on the peninsula, these onward transfers are among our busiest, and they are where the value of a fixed price and a flight-tracked pickup really shows: a resort drop-off an hour away is no harder to arrange than a ride into the city. We carry you to your hotel, apartment or campsite, with all fares agreed up front and paid by card and the cancellation policy shown before you confirm.

About Pula

Pula is the largest city in Istria, set on the peninsula's southern tip and famous for its remarkably preserved Roman amphitheatre — the Arena — one of the best-preserved in the world, which still hosts concerts and films within its ancient walls. The Roman heritage runs through the old town in arches and temples and squares, and the city wears its long history lightly, as a place people live and work rather than a museum.

Pula is also a working port and the main arrival point for southern Istria, which gives it a dual character: part Roman showpiece, part busy harbour town. Just offshore lies the Brijuni national park, a cluster of green islands with a distinctive past, and nearby are the resort villages of Medulin, Fažana and Premantura, strung along a coast of coves and beaches. Its compact airport, close to the city and well placed for the southern peninsula, makes Pula the natural gateway to this whole corner of Istria.
