Rovinj

Private transfers to and from Rovinj — Pula Airport, the old town and the Istrian coast. Fixed prices, licensed drivers, door-to-accommodation.

Rovinj is one of the most photographed towns in Croatia, and in summer it gets the crowds to match — which is the worst time to be hunting for a bus connection or haggling with a taxi after a flight into Pula. The Istrian bus network is not built around resort doorsteps, and Rovinj's old town is a car-free maze on a peninsula where the streets are steps and lanes rather than roads. A pre-booked private transfer skips all of it: a driver in arrivals and a fixed price agreed before you fly, with help carrying your bags the final stretch.

Beauty and popularity are exactly what make a planned arrival worth it here. The town that looks so serene in photographs is, in peak season, a busy place to land in cold — and the difference between a smooth start to the holiday and a frustrating one is usually that first connection from the airport, which a reserved vehicle simply removes.

Getting to and from Rovinj

Pula Airport is the closest, a straightforward drive south of Rovinj, and we run that route door-to-door — taking you as near to the pedestrian old town as vehicles are allowed and helping with the bags from there. The driver meets you with a name sign and tracks your flight, so whether you land early or late the pickup adjusts and there is no shuttle to chase.

We also transfer from Trieste and Ljubljana airports for guests coming from the north, both within comfortable reach when those flights work better. Along the coast we link Rovinj with the other Istrian towns — Poreč, Pula, Vrsar and Bale — so a base here can spread out across the peninsula without a hire car. The fare is paid by card and agreed up front, with the cancellation policy shown before you confirm.

About Rovinj

Rovinj is a postcard-perfect fishing town on Istria's west coast, its pastel houses stacked tightly on a peninsula and crowned by the tall bell tower of the Church of St Euphemia, which rises above the rooftops and can be seen from far out at sea. A working harbour still lines the waterfront, fishing boats among the visitors' yachts, and behind it runs a tangle of steep cobbled lanes that climb toward the church.

The whole place has an unmistakably Venetian, Mediterranean feel — small green islands scattered just offshore, shutters and washing lines and the smell of the sea — and that atmosphere is what has made it so beloved and so busy. Popular but genuinely beautiful, it works as a favourite base for southern Istria, close to Pula and the Brijuni islands and an easy hop from the hill towns and vineyards inland, a quiet contrast to the crowded peninsula at its heart.
