Primošten

Primošten is one of the most photographed towns on the Dalmatian coast, its old quarter heaped on a small peninsula reaching into the Adriatic. Postcard-perfect though it is, getting there after a flight is not always so neat. The airports lie at some distance, and the seasonal coastal buses keep to the main road well above the waterfront, never reaching the apartment or villa where you are actually staying. Primošten sits roughly midway between Split and Zadar, so both airports serve the town and the travel time from each is broadly similar.
