Tribunj

Tribunj is a small fishing town on the Šibenik coast, its old quarter set on a little island linked to the mainland by a bridge. It is a quiet, characterful place to stay, but reaching it after a flight is rarely effortless. The airports lie a good way off, and the seasonal coastal buses follow the main road rather than crossing into the narrow streets of the old town or running to your waterfront apartment. Getting to and from Tribunj

Tribunj sits roughly between Split and Zadar, so both airports serve the town and the travel time from each is broadly similar. Which one to use generally depends on the flights available rather than the distance, and we are happy to collect you from either. Your driver meets you in arrivals with a name sign, helps with the luggage and leads you to a reserved vehicle, so there are no taxi queues and no waiting at an exposed roadside stop.

Tribunj is a small, traditional fishing town in the Šibenik area of northern Dalmatia, its historic core occupying a tiny island joined to the shore by a short bridge, with a marina alongside. It has kept much of the unhurried atmosphere of a genuine Dalmatian fishing settlement, with stone houses, narrow lanes and boats in the harbour, while still offering the beaches and clear water visitors come for. Lying right next to the busier resort of Vodice, it makes an appealing base for those who want a quieter setting within easy reach of more lively surroundings and the national parks inland.
