Tučepi

Tučepi is a long, low ribbon of a resort on the Makarska Riviera, and that shape is exactly the problem when you arrive by public transport: the coastal bus drops you somewhere on the main road, and your apartment is very often a stiff walk up or down from there with a week's worth of luggage. After flying into Split and changing onto a riviera bus, it's a tiring way to reach the beach.
