Vir

The good news about Vir is that you don't need a ferry to get there — it's joined to the mainland by a road bridge, so a car drives straight onto the island. The catch is everything after you land: there's no airport on Vir, buses are sparse and seasonal, and an airport taxi to a summer apartment can be expensive and hard to find at the wrong hour. A pre-booked private transfer skips all of that and drops you at your door.

Getting to and from Vir

Vir is roughly 30 km from Zadar Airport — about a 40-minute drive over the bridge near Privlaka and Nin.
