Getting to and from Gaženica

Gaženica is Zadar's modern ferry port, about 3 km southeast of the old town. We run direct transfers between the port and Zadar Airport, the Zadar old town, Vir, Nin and the coastal villages — and onward along the coast if you're connecting a longer trip. For arrivals flying in to catch a boat, we track your flight and build in time to reach the port; for arrivals coming off the water, the driver meets you at the terminal and helps with the luggage.

About Gaženica port

Gaženica is the main maritime gateway for Zadar, built to handle larger car ferries and fast passenger catamarans that the old town quay could no longer take. From here Jadrolinija sailings reach the Zadar archipelago — Dugi Otok, Ist, Molat, Premuda and the smaller islands — along with coastal lines connecting the wider Adriatic. Because it sits apart from the old town and has limited public transport, it's one of the most common pickup and drop-off points we serve in the Zadar area.
