Čiovo

Čiovo is about as convenient as an island gets. It is joined to the historic town of Trogir by a short bridge, and Split Airport sits just beside Trogir, so the whole island is only a quick drive from the terminal — with no ferry involved at any point. Even so, the last leg can be awkward on your own: bridge traffic builds up in summer, the bays are spread along the coast, and local buses are limited.
