Nin

Private transfers to Nin, a historic lagoon town near Zadar famed for Queen's Beach. Door-to-door from Zadar Airport with fixed prices and meet & greet.

Nin lies a little north of Zadar on its own shallow lagoon, and reaching it after a flight is one of those journeys that looks easy until you try it with bags. Buses along this coast are sparse and tend to run on a seasonal, holidaymaker's timetable, they stop on the main routes rather than near the beaches and the old town, and none of them will deliver you to the door of an apartment tucked behind the lagoon. A private transfer booked in advance turns the whole thing into a single, fixed-price ride.

Getting to and from Nin

Zadar Airport is the nearest airport to Nin and the most convenient way in for visitors arriving by air. With a private transfer your driver follows your flight, so there is no need to worry about delays or early landings affecting your pick-up. They meet you in arrivals holding a sign with your name, take charge of the luggage and lead you to a reserved car, so you skip the taxi rank entirely. The fare is set when you book and paid by card, which means no meter and no awkward negotiation at the end of a long day of travel.

Sitting just up the coast from Zadar, Nin is well placed for door-to-door journeys around the region. We can run you into Zadar for its old town and ferry connections, north towards Privlaka and the Vir area, or to other North-Dalmatian spots, always working to your schedule rather than a published timetable. The same applies in reverse when it is time to head home.

About Nin

Nin is one of the oldest towns in Croatia, a small historic settlement built on a tiny islet in a sheltered lagoon and linked to the mainland by bridges. It carries a long royal and ecclesiastical history, and its compact old core, ringed by water, gives it a distinctive character quite unlike the larger resorts nearby. The town is also closely associated with its traditional saltworks, where sea salt has been harvested in the lagoon for centuries.

For many visitors, though, the draw is the coastline. Nin is famous for its long, shallow sandy beach, often called Queen's Beach, the kind of soft, gently shelving sand that is relatively rare on the Dalmatian coast and ideal for families. Between the heritage of the old town and the easy beaches just outside it, Nin makes a memorable base in this corner near Zadar.
