Private transfers to Orebić from Dubrovnik Airport. Reach this Pelješac town facing Korčula door-to-door, with a fixed price and no slow seasonal buses.
Orebić is a town on the Pelješac peninsula, set out towards its far western end facing the island of Korčula across a narrow channel. Reaching it overland from Dubrovnik is a journey, and public transport makes it a harder one: coastal buses are limited and seasonal, tied to their own timetable, and slow going once luggage is involved. Add the pedestrianised old town of Dubrovnik to the mix and the connections multiply. A private transfer booked ahead removes the guesswork, taking you door-to-door in a single comfortable ride along one of the prettiest stretches of the coast.
Dubrovnik Airport at Čilipi is the gateway for visitors to this part of Dalmatia. The drive out to Orebić runs northwest along the coast and then the length of the Pelješac peninsula, a longer but scenic route through vineyards and over the ridge towards Korčula. With a private transfer your driver greets you in arrivals with a name board, tracks your flight so the pick-up adjusts to your real landing time, helps with the luggage and brings you all the way to your accommodation. The fare is fixed and agreed in advance, paid by card, so there are no taxi queues and no end-of-trip surprises.
The same service works for the return and for getting around during your stay. Orebić connects back to Dubrovnik Airport and the city, to Cavtat, and to the other Pelješac settlements such as Ston and Mali Ston near the base of the peninsula. The Gruž port in Dubrovnik is a frequent pick-up or drop-off point too. For a destination this far out, a reserved vehicle is by far the most relaxed option, replacing a string of buses with one direct journey.
Orebić lies on the southern side of the Pelješac peninsula, looking across the water to the town of Korčula. It has a long seafaring heritage, having once been home to prosperous sea captains, and that maritime past still shows in the town's handsome old houses and waterfront. Today Orebić is known for its beaches, its sweeping views of Korčula and the channel, and as a base for the surrounding Pelješac wine country. Backed by the slopes of Sveti Ilija, it has an open, breezy character and is a popular jumping-off point for the short crossing to Korčula.
