Prapratno (Pelješac) Ferry Port

Prapratno is a small ferry port tucked into a bay on the Pelješac peninsula, and the crossings from here run to a fixed timetable with meaningful gaps between them. Miss a sailing and you can be stuck for hours; try to reach the port by public transport and you will find there is very little. A pre-booked private transfer is timed around your boat — the driver there before you sail, or waiting as you come off — with the price fixed before you travel.

Getting to and from Prapratno

The nearest major gateway is Dubrovnik Airport, and we run flight-to-ferry and ferry-to-airport connections planned around your crossing. If you are flying in to catch the boat, we track your flight and allow for the drive out along the peninsula; if you are arriving from the island, the driver meets you at the slip, takes the luggage and carries on to your destination. It is all door-to-door.

From Prapratno we connect to Dubrovnik Airport, Dubrovnik city, the town of Ston and the villages of Pelješac, and onward up the coast if you are linking a longer journey. About Prapratno

Prapratno sits in a quiet cove on the southern side of the Pelješac peninsula, close to the historic salt-making town of Ston. It is principally a ferry slip rather than a town, serving the crossing over to the green island of Mljet, much of which is a national park. The setting is rural and the port has few services of its own, so a pre-arranged pickup or drop-off removes the uncertainty of getting to or from such an out-of-the-way point.
