City transfers
Private transfers to and from Rijeka — the Krk island airport, the port, Opatija and the Kvarner coast. Fixed prices, licensed drivers.
Rijeka's nearest airport is the slightly confusing one: it is on the island of Krk, reached over the Krk Bridge, with only sparse buses to match the flights. Add a busy working port and a city built up the slopes of a deep harbour, and arriving without a plan quickly gets awkward — you can find yourself stranded between an island airport and a mainland city with no obvious link. A pre-booked private transfer is waiting when you land and drives you straight across the bridge to the door, no ferry and no waiting required.
The Kvarner region rewards this kind of arranged arrival, because its highlights are spread around the gulf and across several islands rather than clustered in one place. A reserved vehicle with a named driver turns that scattered geography into a single fixed-price drive, whether you are heading into Rijeka itself, along to the riviera, or out to one of the islands.
We transfer between Rijeka and the Krk airport over the bridge — there is no ferry involved — and the driver meets you, tracks your flight and helps with the bags. The same route works for departures, with the pickup timed to your check-in so the bridge crossing and the city traffic are accounted for rather than left to luck.
Beyond the airport run we serve the city's port, its train and bus stations, and the wider Kvarner coast. Elegant Opatija is just along the riviera and a quick fixed-price hop, one of our most common Kvarner routes, and we reach the Krk island towns and the ferry ports for the green islands of Cres and Lošinj as well. Because Rijeka is a transport crossroads, many of our trips here are connections — plane to ferry, ferry to train, city to riviera — and the fixed price and flight tracking are what hold those links together. Fares are agreed up front and paid by card, with the cancellation policy shown before you confirm.
Rijeka is Croatia's principal port city and the capital of the Kvarner region, a working, unpretentious place wrapped around a deep natural harbour. It is a city of docks and cranes and crowded waterfront, but also of the broad Korzo promenade where the town gathers, the hilltop Trsat castle looking down over the gulf, and a lively cultural scene that gives it a character quite apart from the resorts nearby.
Its real value to a traveller, though, is its position. From Rijeka the door opens to Opatija's belle-époque riviera just along the coast, to the large island of Krk over the bridge, and to the quieter, forested islands of Cres and Lošinj out in the gulf. As the meeting point of road, rail and sea routes in this corner of Croatia, it is a frequent start or end point for Kvarner trips — the hub you pass through on the way to somewhere along the water.
