Trpanj

Trpanj is a quiet little port on the northern shore of the Pelješac peninsula, and reaching it is the kind of multi-leg journey where public transport falls apart: a flight, then a long drive out along the peninsula, sometimes combined with a ferry crossing. Getting to and from Trpanj

Depending on your route, Dubrovnik Airport serves the southern approach to Pelješac, while many travellers reach the peninsula via the mainland and the ferry crossing that links Trpanj with Ploče. About Trpanj

Trpanj is a small, unhurried harbour town on the north coast of the Pelješac peninsula in southern Dalmatia, looking back across the channel toward the mainland and the Biokovo mountains. It's best known as the Pelješac end of the ferry link to Ploče, and as a peaceful base among the peninsula's beaches, coves and celebrated vineyards. Quieter than the busy southern resorts, it suits travellers after a calm corner of the coast.
